macOS blocks the app the first time you open it?

That's normal - ScriptZ is open source and not registered with Apple. Run this command in Terminal once, then everything works as expected:

xattr -cr /Applications/ScriptZ.app

Apple charges for a signature that would skip this step. Until that pays off, the short command is the price for ScriptZ staying free and account-less.

Windows SmartScreen kicks in on first launch?

That's normal - ScriptZ is open source and doesn't (yet) have an EV code-signing certificate. Two clicks and you're through:

1. In the SmartScreen dialog, click „More info".
2. Then click the button that appears: „Run anyway".

Microsoft requires a paid EV code-signing certificate for instant acceptance. Until that pays off, the two extra clicks are the price for ScriptZ staying free and account-less.
